We are changing the opening hours of today, Monday 23rd August to 7am to 7pm. This is so we can stock the shelves and get the store ready for you. We have been working tirelessly through day and night to keep the supply full and plenty. These extra hours up our sleeve to stock the shelves will mean we’re in a better position to serve our community. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING! And please remember - #shopnormal. Please share this with your whanau and friends.

In the meantime, it’s important that we all keep on doing do the following:
1. Stay home unless you need to travel for essential reasons (to get food, medicines or medical services) or to exercise. NB: If you have to drive to get to the place you want to exercise - don’t. You’re likely to get turned back either by police or (more firmly) by mana whenua and their kaitiaki. Exercise within walking distance of your bubble.
2. Wear masks if you do leave your bubble for essential reasons.
3. Wash hands regularly.
4. Keep working your whanau response plan.

There are a growing number of COVID cases and close contacts in and around Kaitaia who are being supported and provided with everything they need to isolate until they are either no longer infectious as a positive case OR they get a day 5 negative test result as a close contact.

Iwi authorities, Maori health and social service providers, DHB and Public Health staff - we are all working together and doing all we can to bring everyone exposed to COVID in Te Hiku through the experience still intact physically, mentally and spiritually.
