Tēnā koutou. After her statement that Mr Seymour’s 28 January speech is a master class in White Supremacy and racist attacks on Māori, our Chair spoke with a number of people; several of whom indicated that a more detailed analysis may be helpful.
Attached FYI is that analysis conducted in consultation with members of her own whānau, hapū and iwi, Taitokerau iwi and National Iwi Chairs Forum. It has been sent to MPs of Māori descent who may also find it helpful, including Mr Seymour.
This is a resource for all Tangata Whenua and our allies who are already are (and / or will be) engaging with the coalition government and its policies for the duration of its term.
