Submitted by admin2 on Mon, 01/08/2011 - 1:29pm

IF YOU ARE MĀORI LIVING IN AUSTRALIA - READ THE INFORMATION BELOW FIRST, AND THEN TAKE THE SURVEY: http://vuw.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6AwjmhsaG5N6ITy

Kia ora koutou

Ko Maria Bargh ahau. Ko Te Arawa me Ngati Awa oku iwi.

I'm running an anonymous survey about Maori voting habits in Australia. There are at least 110,000 Maori in Australia, and some of your whanau may be included in this number. I'm wanting to find out if Maori in Australia are satisfied with the ways they are being represented in Australia and Aotearoa and whether they vote in elections in both countries. The survey takes approx 3 minutes and the link is:

I'm a lecturer in Maori Studies at Victoria University, Wellington so I'll be writing up the results in academic papers and will be distributing the findings to those lists and sites which have posted the link. The survey is anonymous and people can request the findings by emailing me whether they have completed it or not.

If you are Maori and living in Australia please complete the survey and if you have whanau in Aussie please distribute the link.

For any further information please email me (maria.bargh@vuw.ac.nz).

Nga mihi
