17/11/2021: MAORI COVID VACCINATION RATES IN THE NORTHERN REGION - DAILY TARGET REPORTS

As you all know, the government intends to open the internal borders once the three Auckland DHBs (Waitemata, Auckland Central and Counties Manukau) hit a target of 90% of the population base in their districts having received two doses of the Pfizer vaccination against COVID – likely to be before Christmas 2021. Additionally, they will open our international borders once all the DHBs in the country have reached that mark – probably in mid-January 2022.

Booster vaccine doses will be available from Monday 29 November, for anyone over 18 who has completed their primary vaccination course at least 6 months prior to their planned booster dose.
