THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE COLLECTIVE OF WHANAU AND HAPU OF TE KURA KAUPAPA MAORI O RANGIAWNIA
Kia ora Koutou. We are going to hold a gathering at Kura ( TKKM o Rangiawhia) tomorrow (Friday 23 Dec) to come together and stand against the closure of the Kura and for its opening.
We will come together as one and share Karakia, Korero, Kai and Aroha.
We will gather all day from 10:30am onwards with games for kids from 11am and Kai at 1:30pm as the educare childcare wrap up for Christmas at 1pm so the mokopuna from educare can join us afterward.
From 1.30pm we will have a BBQ ( sausage sizzle) secret santa for our kids from Kura and tamariki.
We have contacted Dean Nathan from the media to get news coverage.
Please bring a plate for shared Kai and a little taonga/gift or $2-$5 toy or gift to wrap and put in secret santa. Santa will arrive at 2pm at the Kura for our tamariki.
Please forward to whānau and community.
